Genuine talent as a healer

Six years ago, during my first pregnancy, I was diagnosed with Lupus. This diagnosis came after months of excruciating and debilitating pain whenever I tried to sit, stand, or walk. I was 25. Physical therapy, steroid injections, back braces, painkillers and a round of specialists became the routine. After my pregnancy, I was sent to an Orthopedic surgeon and was told I needed surgery. I did not agree. Dr. Callahan started adjusting me last summer. Today, my neck pain is gone. I no longer limp. My lower back is getting better. I no longer rely on muscle relaxants or painkillers to get me through the day. And when I feel that things are slipping, or that it’s time for a check up, I walk in. And when I walk out, I feel better from the inside out. Dr. Callahan, thank you for your sincere Irish humor, your genuine talent as a healer and for showing me that with your help, my body has the intelligence and the ability to heal itself.
